Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo, from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk have been the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and plays the role of drama instructor at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching working and going to practice sessions for plays. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials when she was a kid. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. After that, she relocated into Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. They were engaged in 2009, and were married at a civil wedding ceremony in December of that year. They renewed their vows on April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton, after the woman converted to Judaism. Silk had an infant son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk has a number of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. She was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 for this role. In 2009, she was cast in the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk fell pregnant during the filming of season three's finale. She announced the news to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk, who has been doing work on the show since the third season finale episode premiered on the 6th of January, 2013. She announced via Twitter her readiness to return on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. CNN named Bo's portrayal along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about television couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple of the year 2013.
