Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished professor of psychology since 1993, and the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. It is believed that she was the one responsible with establishing the current study of the memory of witnesses and children as witnesses. Professor Goodman is a prolific writer and has been awarded many awards and grants. She has provided policy and research consultations for numerous government agencies and departments across the world. She serves as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center and was previously the Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a Fellow of both the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 55). Professor Goodman belongs to Psychonomics Society, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a Founding Member, International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division and Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child policy and practice.
